I chose the Texas Pecan and Earl Grey Cream samples. First, I was impressed with the generous size of each sample: 0.5 oz. As it is cold here, I prepared both of them hot. The flavors were rich and smooth. Although I am aware that they intentionally toned down the bergamot, I only wish the Earl Grey Cream had a bit more. I could smell it in the bag, but the scent seemed to get lost once brewed. I added a small amount of another Earl Grey to the next cup, and it was perfect. The Texas Pecan was delicious. I want to try it as iced tea.

Added some samples to my order with high hopes, and I was not disappointed! Cream Earl Grey has been a personal favorite for years, but I'm constantly impressed by the consistent quality & masterful blends of flavors in each of these teas. I'll be back for refills!

I ordered this as a free sample and it is delicious. I brewed just one cup as my first taste. I let it cool and added just a tiny bit of sugar. Then poured it over ice. I am a Texas girl and we drink iced tea. The tea has a full body taste and the pecan is noticeable. I will use the rest of the sample to make a pitcher of tea because I want to share with friends..
My other sample is the Royal Breakfast tea. I will review that one after I sample it.
Texas Pecan & Cream Earl Gray

I selected Texas Pecan & Earl Grey Cream samples.
Texas Pecan: smelled fragrant from the bag, and I think it had a cocoa note along with the pecan and black tea once brewed. I really liked that combination, which was somewhere between a heart breakfast tea and a nutty dessert tea for me. Tastes rich. I steeped at varied temperatures each time, some over what the directions say, and it still never became bitter! Excellent with sweetener and milk, or just sweetener. 5 stars!
Creamy Earl Grey: it’s real bergamot, and I appreciate that, but I get an anise/licorice note mixed in (not listed separately in the ingredient list) that I wish was not there. It was good served with milk and sugar, and I imagine would make a good base for a tea latte if brewed at a higher concentration than directed. For my tastes, this one was 4 stars, but the quality is still 5.
